Universal Fabrications is an Oldham based engineering company.

Established in 1985, they provide a wide range of sheet metal and fabrication products using internationally recognised ISO standards.

Universal Fabrications approached Aspect IT regarding their bespoke manufacturing system. The system was incomplete and required further development to ensure it met their company’s business process requirements.

Aspect IT firstly analysed the system to understand the processes and its functionality before fixing any existing issues and completing various reports.

Additional functionality was then added. One of the enhancements was a timesheet system for employees. This allowed all employees to use key fobs to sign in and out of jobs and this in turn attributed specific costs for more in-depth reporting.
