Sagittarius Ltd are a supplier of bathroom and kitchen taps, showering fittings, and accessories, with a wide range of collections.

Sagittarius employed Aspect IT to replace a basic, ageing product website. The new website is an ecommerce brochure of the client’s full and varied product ranges. Although not currently used to sell products directly, the site is ready to once Sagittarius decide to make the switch.

As the client’s product range is fairly large, Aspect IT provided a spreadsheet file template, which was used to enable Sagittarius to build the product ranges and associated information themselves, offline. These completed files were then used to import the products into the website, saving a great deal of time.

The site also included custom work to provide several ways that products could be cross-referenced, giving the facilities to be able to display similar ranges, products and suitable accessories for any given product. The site includes a special viewer for an electronic copy of the full product brochure.
