Good Deed 3 is complete!
Let’s recap on our journey to 20 Good Deeds so far…
In July we completed our first Good Deed, providing marketing materials for Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid
Then, in August we donated much-needed items to Oldham Foodbank
That brings us to now and the announcement of our third Good Deed…
Donating IT equipment to Age UK Oldham!
More About Age UK Oldham
Age UK is the nation’s leading charity for older people. They provide vital services and are there for older people who need them most.
Age UK Oldham are local to us and they work to provide information, advice and support to older people in the community. They operate a range of activities out of Chadderton Over Sixties Centre, such as craft clubs, friendship clubs and technology classes.
Donating IT Equipment
As an IT company we understand the importance of technology and the benefits it can bring to people’s lives. We were therefore keen to give some IT equipment a good home for one of our Good Deeds and what better place than Age UK Oldham!
Our Marketing Executive, Alysha, along with our Helpdesk Team Leader, Alex, packed up the equipment and took it down to Chadderton Over Sixties Centre to donate on behalf of Aspect IT.
They were met with a warm welcome from Volunteer and Community Services Manager, Maggie, along with a friendly bunch of older people who were sitting down for the afternoon’s craft club!
The equipment we donated to Age UK Oldham will be set up in the community centre, allowing volunteers and older people to use it whenever they need to.
We’re delighted that we could donate IT equipment to Age UK Oldham and hope that it will benefit them greatly.
