Introducing our new Helpdesk Engineer, Marc!
Marc joined the Aspect IT crew in October and has been settling in really well.
As part of the helpdesk team, his day-to-day responsibilities include taking calls and answering emails from our clients to ensure IT issues are solved in an efficient, timely manner.

How has your time with Aspect IT been so far?
My time with Aspect IT has been brilliant so far! I’ve felt really welcomed and supported by the team – assistance is always there when I need it.
Can you tell us a little more about your role as Helpdesk Engineer?
My role involves me assisting customers with their IT issues. The job covers a wide range of topics – it’s rare that a call regarding the same issue comes in and I like that because it keeps things fresh. If I’m unable to fix something remotely, I’ll go onsite to sort it.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
My favourite thing about my job is the site visits – I get to see a range of people and businesses that I would not normally interact with.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy looking at and repairing retro gaming consoles. I spend time with my 2 huskies (they’re full of energy) and I also like to drive – generally I pick a direction and just go visit towns I’ve never been to.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in IT?
I would say that you learn more from doing – no amount of training prepares you for the breadth of scenarios you will face… you just have to get out there and do it!
What are a couple of random facts about you?
I ride motorbikes and I was named after Marc Bolan, the singer from T-Rex!
