Summit Up are an Indoor Climbing Centre based in Oldham.
The centre encourages the whole family to get involved with their climbing walls and the Clip ‘n Climb arena. They are also home to the world’s first interactive climbing experience!
Aspect IT assisted SCT Climbing in the early stages of their new building to make sure that the underlying structured cabling was installed in the right locations for what was required in the building. After reviewing the plans, we suggested Wi-Fi installation points which would provide good coverage throughout the building. Once the building was finished, we installed 11 Unifi access points which are powered by the ethernet cabling. 2 separate Wi-Fi networks were configured to split staff from guest access. The wifi covers the whole building, over 3 floors, and is remotely managed. Updates and changes can be done remotely too, to avoid business disruption.
