Windows 9 Release Date
Microsoft have announced their Windows Event for 30 September which should hopefully have the official details on a Windows 9 release. You can check out all the new features and releases in our Windows 9 blog post.
Also, leaked images on the web showed the proposed new Windows 9 start menu.
So much has been written about the lack of a start button in Windows, so it appears Microsoft have taken this on board.

IOS8 and iPhone 6
With the release of the iPhone 6, Apple have also been rolling out its IOS 8 update. If you have an iPhone 4S or above then you should be able to start updating. To see some of its new features check out our iPhone 6 blog.
Some users, however, have had problems when updating on the 4S, reporting slow performance. Therefore so it may be worth not updating just yet.
There have also been other problems with the update taking up a lot of space on devices and some users have had to delete content to actually perform the update.
New Amazon Releases
The new Kindle Voyage is the top end e-reader from Amazon that comes with high resolution a matt glass screen that also gives an increased resolution for sharper text and higher contrast.
They have also released a new fire tablet for kids that comes with a big chunky kid-proof case and 2 years no questions warranty!
