It’s National Apprenticeship Week and we’re celebrating Patryk, our Helpdesk Apprentice!
Patryk joined us towards the end of 2023. He’s just completed his ICT Level 3 and is now moving on to Level 4.
To give you some insight into Patryk’s journey so far, we interviewed him. We hope you enjoy reading and stand with us in appreciating the hard work and contribution of apprentices, like Patryk.

Why did you decide to go down the apprenticeship route?
For me, an apprenticeship seemed to be the perfect way of maintaining my education whilst also gaining professional experience.
How has your apprenticeship helped you?
My Level 3 has taught me what knowledge and skills are expected of me in the workplace, as well as general office etiquette and how to behave in a working environment.
What skills have you learnt whilst on your apprenticeship?
I’ve learnt how to communicate with clients, prioritise tasks and manage my workload (whether it’s related to work itself or my coursework). I’ve gained a lot of technical knowledge, as well as an understanding of our internal and client systems.
What have been the highlights of your apprenticeship?
My initial training here at Aspect was a highlight for me – it gave me a lot of insight into what I would be working on. Completing my training modules and end point assessments were also highlights – I felt proud to have covered a variety of topics and enjoyed getting the opportunity to interact with other apprentices.
Why have you chosen to do Level 4?
I decided to do Level 4 because I want to continue my education and gain more work experience. I’m eager to gain additional certifications so this was also a big motivator for me.
A note from us
Patryk has become an integral part of the Helpdesk Team. He works hard every day, answering client calls and dealing with their IT issues. Customers love him and we love having him on the team!
