We’re back again with our latest Good Deed and this time it’s number 5 – sponsoring the Pennine Mencap Celebration Ball!
More About Pennine Mencap
Pennine Mencap is a registered charity providing opportunities for adults with learning difficulties in the Oldham and Tameside area.
They provide a variety of services and activities to help their service users create, achieve and express themselves, as well as develop their skills and generally bring positive changes to their lives.
Most of Pennine Mencap’s activities run out of Rhodes Bank Chambers in Oldham where they have activity rooms, a drama studio, kitchens, a gym, community garden and much more available!
The charity’s mission to be an accessible and inclusive service provider is truly inspiring and they are without doubt making a real positive change in our local community.

Sponsoring and Attending the Celebration Ball
When the team over at Pennine Mencap got in touch with us to invite us to their first ever Celebration Ball, we were very eager to accept and so decided to sponsor the event as well as attend.
The ball took place Friday 17th November at Chadderton Town Hall and was aimed at celebrating and supporting the charity’s service users, carers and volunteers.
With over £7,000 raised, the event was a huge success and we are proud to have been part of it.
The money will go towards developing a breakout space in their centre.
An amazing evening full of entertainment, food and more importantly, a sense of togetherness.
Plus, with an auction and raffle taking place on the night and prizes such as puppy yoga up for grabs, we of course had to get in on the action and support that too!
A Quarter of the Way There!
The completion of our 5th Good Deed means we’re officially a quarter of the way there towards our goal of 20 Good Deeds!
