Introducing our new Marketing Executive, Alysha!
Alysha joined the Aspect IT team in May, straight after finishing university. She is awaiting her graduation ceremony in July where she will receive a 1st Class BSc degree in Marketing from the University of Salford!
Alysha has almost 2 years’ experience working in Marketing roles and is excited to be here at Aspect expanding her knowledge and applying her skills to a new industry.
Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing our social media accounts, writing blog posts, creating email marketing campaigns and more!
We interviewed Alysha so you can get to know her better:
How have you found working at Aspect IT so far?
I’ve loved my time with Aspect so far. My role is rewarding and I’m enjoying developing my skills here. My colleagues are also great which helps – the atmosphere in the office is lovely!
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I love that I get to be involved in all aspects of Marketing rather than just one specific area. I enjoy expanding my skillset and taking on new challenges so the role suits me really well. I’m also enjoying getting familiar with the IT / tech industry – I learn something new every day!
What do you do outside of work?
Other than seeing friends and family, when I’m not at work I enjoy going on long walks and listening to music.
What is your favourite quote?
‘Count your blessings, not your problems’
I’m all about positivity!
What are a couple of random facts about you?
I love McDonalds a little too much and my all time favourite song is Hey Ya! by Outkast.
What advice would you give to someone wanting a career in Marketing?
Keep up with the latest trends and make sure to get as much experience as possible – I’m a big believer in the fact that you learn a lot more on the job.
